About Day One

Day One creates dynamic bespoke elearning solutions, which include engaging and innovative training content, modular learning management systems and true-to-life IT system simulations.

We’ve been creating elearning for over 25 years, and have continued to thrive while many competitors have sprung up and disappeared just as quickly. Much of this success is because our solutions drive real performance improvements for our customers, and we become their long-term, trusted partners.

Why work with Day One?

We’ve recently taken on several major new projects for some high-profile clients, to create scenario-based training and realistic system simulations. Day One Technologies is still a relatively small company, but with a growing, global footprint in Learning and Development.

We’re set to grow further over the coming months, so this is a great time to gain experience working with some interesting new and existing clients, and develop your career. We’ve worked on important, impactful projects for some major brands:

If that sounds like you too, we’d love you to join us!

After graduating from the University of Bradford, I joined Day One at a point where I was still figuring out what kind of developer I wanted to be.

I learned most by working on real projects rather than training exercises, which pushed me to improve quickly, build confidence in my skills, and develop strong working relationships across the dev team.

The opportunity to grow steadily within the same environment while learning on the job made a big difference to my career and the direction it took. That sense of being valued is a big reason I am still here, and why I feel motivated to offer the same support to everyone who joins us.

During my time at university, I mainly learned theory-based and transferable skills like presentation, communication, and some coding. This helped a lot when I started working at Day One, as many of the skills I picked up at university carried straight into my internship.

A lot of the technical tasks and projects felt familiar, which made it easier to understand how things work in a real business environment.

I have since progressed to full-time employment with the company, working on a wide variety of client projects.
