Details of an eLearning Account Manager job vacancy in West Yorkshire, UK – working with us here at Day One Technologies near Leeds. Due to winning several exciting new contracts, we’re looking for an experienced account manager to join us and be part of our growth.

Our multi-skilled teams work with subject matter experts from all sectors, but especially from finance, healthcare and technology, in order to develop interactive, error-free, high-quality online content that incorporates video, audio narration, simulations, 3D graphics and animations.


Job Description

  • Proactively manage of a portfolio of existing accounts with the aim of retaining their custom and maximising revenue and service opportunities
  • Build strong relationships through taking a consultative approach in order to deliver the outcomes, products and services that the customer needs
  • Project/ contract manage accounts and service delivery commitments
  • Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement creative service solutions to meet customers changing and developing needs
  • Assist to develop and deliver sales and marketing campaigns
  • Meet and exceed team and individual sales targets
  • Understand and have experience of the steps in a complex sales cycle
  • Capability to call high in an organisation
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in order to interact with “C” level executives
  • Strong relationship building skills


Person Specification

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a bespoke elearning environment
  • Passion, tenacity and drive to meet individual and team targets
  • Confidence in presenting at all levels, to a range of different organisations
  • A strong customer focus and ability to build relationships to continue customer engagement with our products and services
  • The ability to communicate well at all levels with good attention to detail
  • A positive, confident and friendly demeanour with high level of integrity
  • Excellent client facing and telephone skills
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work on own initiative
  • The ability to develop and nurture relationships quickly
  • Excellent IT skills, you must be able to create presentations, have a good understanding of Excel and Word and be able to learn new systems quickly
  • A trustworthy nature, being able to work independently and as part of a focussed team
  • A full driving licence and access to a car and be willing to travel nationally


Salary – £30k plus commission.
